This is an Avery "A" Wide Front End. It has been said that there are only 7 known.
3 are in junk condition. The original buyer was a Tobacco wearhouse in Tenn. It was not
manuverable enough and was used as a factory tractor. The Single Wheel front end would
have been better suited. It was sold 40 years later. We are the 4th owners. We bought it in
Nashville Tenn. in 2000. It has the original 4 tires and is one of the last made by BF Avery
when MM bought them in 1951.
I would enjoy hearing from you if you own one, or know of were there might be one.
This tractor is going to be featured on the Firestone 2002 Calendar.
